Development of Cell Culture Based Human Influenza Vaccine Protocol

SoloHill has demonstrated feasibility and is now developing protocols for cell culture systems applied to manufacturing of human influenza vaccine. SoloHill continues to win Small Business Innovative Research grants from the NIH to develop and introduce new technology.

The primary application for Microcarriers is in the production of viral vaccines and expressed proteins. SoloHill manufactures a complete line of Microcarriers that are free of animal components. See the complete list of animal protein-free microcarriers.

This is a representative diagram of a four-step microcarrier-bioreactor array. It defines a "scale-up" cell culture production process to be demonstrated in SoloHill using VERO cells at 1:10 scale up ratio.
